EMDR

EMDR is based on the premise that traumatic memories can become "stuck" in the brain, leading to ongoing distress. This therapy uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional intensity and enables you to move forward in your life.

EMDR is endorsed by organizations such as the World Health Organization and the American Psychological Association as an effective treatment for trauma-related disorders. Read more here.

IFS

IFS is based on the premise that the mind is made up of multiple “parts” or sub-personalities, each with its own thoughts, emotions, and roles. These parts often develop in response to life experiences and can carry burdens from past trauma or unmet needs.

Therapy in the IFS model is particularly effective for treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties, and is valued for its non-pathologizing, respectful approach to inner experience.

By promoting self-awareness and internal harmony, IFS supports lasting emotional healing and personal growth.

Attachment-based Therapy

Attachment-based therapy is a psychotherapeutic approach grounded in attachment theory, which emphasizes the importance of early relationships in shaping emotional development and interpersonal functioning. This modality focuses on how early attachment experiences influence a person’s sense of self, patterns of relating, and capacity to form secure, trusting relationships in adulthood.

At its core, attachment-based therapy seeks to foster secure, attuned connections—both within the therapeutic relationship and in the client’s broader life.

Somatic Work

Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach that emphasizes the connection between the mind and body. Rooted in both psychological and physiological principles, somatic work recognizes that unresolved trauma can be stored in the body. Clients are guided to increase awareness of bodily sensations, posture, breath, and movement as pathways to access and process deeply held emotions and experiences. The goal is to release physical tension, restore the body’s natural regulatory capacities, and support emotional integration.

By engaging both the body and the mind, Somatic Therapy offers a holistic path to healing, particularly for individuals whose experiences may not be fully accessible through talk therapy alone.

DBT

DBT focuses on helping individuals manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, tolerate distress, and enhance mindfulness. It combines standard cognitive-behavioral techniques with concepts from Eastern mindfulness practices and dialectical philosophy—the integration of opposites, such as acceptance and change.

DBT is widely recognized for its structured approach and effectiveness in reducing self-harm behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and fostering psychological resilience.
